I am speaking about today's scenario, India was in good position and DK would have released pressure from Kohli to hit big shots where as MSD would use up few balls and won't look for Boundaries, luckily we didn't lose Kohli at that time where RR was above 8.5

And while loosing pressure what if one or two wickets were fallen ?? Had he played big shots with tailenders ?? India was LOOKING in good ( in 1st ODI) position in last match and suddenly wickets fell . In last match we have seen how many balls he took to score that 50 .

In last two matches we have seen that dhoni is not hitting big . 5th and 6th spots are for hitters. Even dhoni was a big hitter thats why he was assigned to 5th/6th position .

Want 3 changes for MCG
  1. Rayudu Out- Kedhar Jadhav In and DK at No.4
  2. Kuldeep Out - Chahal In Leg Spinner always trouble Aussies be it Adil Rashid or Tahir
  3. Siraj Out- Khaleel / Vijay Shankar in

I would be surprised if they make more than 1 change in the decider!

Have a different thinking about Today's match, if DK would have come to bat at No 4 in place of MSD, Match could have well finished within 47 overs though not taking any credit from MSD for his Skillful batting today.

DK is more a T20 kind of player, though he is playing in ODIs too. So, he should come in when there are less number of overs, like in T20. He has this great ability to score quick runs straight away in that situation. We have seen what happened in the last match, he came in much earlier and got out cheaply! And I have seen this happen several times, he doesn't know how to play (Attack or Defend) when there are so many overs left. When there are less overs, there is only one way to play, Attack, and he is good at that! Today's situation was tailor made for him and he had shown his class. Check his match winning innings, and they came in similar situations (Nidahas Trophy Final is what I remember, I think there are more in IPL). The current position in the batting order is ideal for DK IMO.

I would rather bring chahal in place of Jaddu as kuldeep and chahal bowled better if they played toghter and bring shankar in place of siraj
Agreed with kedhar selection

100% agree with you. Commentators also saying the same things throughout his innings.
For me, this should be the line-up till Pandya & Bumrah return.
Dhawan
Rohit
Virat
MS
Kedar
DK
Shankar
Jadeja
Bhuvi
Kul/Cha
Shami
After Pandya & Bumrah joining, they should take position of Shankar & Shami. Also depending on ground, Shami/Kul/Cha to be placed.

Though I agree with Kul-Cha being more effective than either of them playing, but that will create a very long tail, so Jadeja is must.
