If a Led monitor used as TV what will be the problems?

If a Led monitor used as TV with external speaker what will be the problems? 
Provide your knowledge.
A monitor have 3 years warranty, Full HD display, even IPS monitor's price is less than IPS TV.
So why we HD dth users buy TV, not the monitor!!!! :skd :skd :skd
