I know ultimately it's a cricket game and NZ won at that. But the organizer's (BCCI+ICC) is one corrupted organisation. Empty stadium gave me the shock of my life. Which really destroyed my energy to watch. It was soulless without crowds.

BTW here in Chennai for past 3 to 4 days it starts raining at around 8:30. It's cloudy with dark grey clouds right now.
God knows what will we do on 8th against the mighty Aussies.

Probably ODI is in the last league. If this was IPL or T20 match, you would have seen 80% of the stands full .

Watch out for the dark horses

England have no chance with Malan not firing and pretty ordinary Brook in the squad. Roy would have made huge difference at top of the order.

This was just match 1... Malan was in incredible form before WC, that's the reason Roy's not here today..

If you have a 1.2L capacity stadium dont expect it to be filled for any match except an India game

Tickets absolutely sold out for almost all games in Mumbai.

Problem is they build big stadium in Ahmedabad and Lucknow whereas actually fans sellout matches in Bengaluru and Mumbai.

It would be really good if they upgrade either Wankhede or Chinaswamy or other traditional test centres to 1L capacity while keeping the other stadiums in places like Lucknow, Ahmedabad or the new stadium they are building in Jaipur to around 40k capacity

Chinnaswamy really needs an upgrade. Would also be good for RCB when the stadium will undergo upgrade. Which means they won't be able to play there and they'd finally have a shot at winning the trophy...

That stadium Gets way too crowded in the A Upper stand during IPL. There's no space at all during high profile matches (CSK, MI)..
