Probably i was way more excited before 2011 WC than this.In my lifetime i had never seen Indian team reaching the pinnacle of ODI Cricket. The feeling was similar when Chelsea Won their 1st UCL in 2012.This time though i am excited and hopeful but it can't beat the feeling of 2011 :)

That's a huge trade off too bro. You won't be able to watch most of the matches at group stage. Best way is to watch is have a family get-together and enjoying the whole match with the family. Invite friends too. There are multiple huge screens all over here. But I am preferring to watching with my family.
Take your family to PVR INOX and watch it on big screen . They are showing matches in theatre .
That's the biggest disadvantage! My whole family except me and my Dad hates Cricket & My Dad works out of India. We only talk via Whatsapp Call during late night. If I invite my friends, my mom would cut me into slices and won't even count. I am stuck everywhere.

Most of the people excited today are the younger generation who were too young to understand 2011 World Cup. To me personally 2007 was more memorable as we defeated our rival in a new football type unpredictable format. What's exciting was 6 sixes of Yuvraj Singh. Than seeing bowl out for the first time. It was used for tiebreakers before super over. Didn't understand much about stats back than. It didn't matter. What mattered were the memories. At 2011 you knew we were winning since the semi final. 2007 was just unexpected.

Since India is winning this one. Let's hope this ain't an one-sided match like Asia Cup final. We get a proper entertaining match that keeps the ODI format alive for the future of cricket.
In India it will be always one sided. In South Africa and England, you can find close shaves. I don't know about Australia.

Let it be one sided with India winning,we can keep close encounters coming up in the T20 series starting on Thursday.
We will have totally new side for that series and Australia have picked up their white ball game after long time. I expect it to be one sided for that game as well if Surya doesn't click in favour of Australia.

Algorithm helps in real life buddy. Make other people of family to care about non cricketing aspects like life of cricketers, their popular spouses, stardom, humble background etc. Push these over facebook, whatsapp etc. It you can. Take them to stadiums. They will start loving it. Us Indians are too introverted and kind-hearted. They easily fall for this. I convinced my non sports loving relatives to love cricket. Because they felt relatable. Sadly, same doesn't work for football.

Bias! We lost 2016 T20 World Cup in India too. So don't say things like that. We learnt our lesson from our defeat at World Test Championship.
