BCCI Secretary Jay Shah is in charge of the northern venues of Delhi and Dharamsala, while treasurer Ashish Sehlar will oversee Pune, Lucknow, and Guwahati. Vice-president Rajeev Shukla will handle the southern cities of Hyderabad and Bengaluru, and joint secretary Devajit Saikia has been made responsible for Mumbai, Kolkata, and Trivandrum.
The BCCI has hired an external agency and decided to allocate Rs 50 crore each to the venues for sprucing up the stadiums, mainly the corporate boxes, dressing rooms and outfields.
