After winning against England, New Zealand's net run rate was 2.149. But after winning against Netherlands yesterday their NRR dropped to 1.958. Why did their NRR decrease??
(Total Runs Scored/Total Overs taken to score) - (Total Runs given/Total Overs given)
At first match: (283/36.2)-(282/50) = 2.177679558
After second match: ((283+322)/86.2)-(505/100) = 1.9685614849
If opposition is all out, it is considered as 50 ovs bowled in total overs given.
If said team is all out when batting before 50 ovs, it is considered 50 ovs in total overs taken to score..
