The first 10 overs exposed the mindset of the chase. Our best, captain and vice-captain were at the crease and maidens kept coming. We lost (or rather gave up) the match in the first 10 itself. The batsmen left too much to chase in the last 10 overs, match was beyond reach by then.
Another mistake was not attacking Rashid enough. Batsmen were happy when they got one boundary per over.

I don't really think that's the case.Even after slow start,they recovered pretty well.
In last 60 balls,104 runs were needed,a bit more intent by Dhoni and Jadhav,and we could have reached even closer..

Better india need to play bhuvi at place of kedar jhadav..then India hav 5 best bowler and bhuvi can bat as well...dont know why anyone dont see bhuvi as all-rounder he is also good batsman

How can you even think so,Look at Sri lanka and then look at India,Dhoni's batting right now is Not of much use for us right now,in terms of keeping we have quite a lot of young keepers like Pant,Kishan,Samson who may become very good in future.our batting will be better when players like Gill,Shaw,Iyer come and perform.Our spin bowling reserves are good as well with Sundar,Gopal,Markande,Chahar.So if you think so you are deluded highly bro.

From next match onwards kedhar jadhav should be replaced dinesh karthik and continous chances should be given to him even if he fails in his ist chance. Kedhar jadhav doesn,t know to bat in final overs. But dinesh karthik has flexibility.

If we look at the run-rate, we did not recover anywhere near by the time of Rohit's dismissal.
It was 198/3 off 36 overs, the CRR was a mere 5.50 and RRR was 10.0.
Just because we were 198/2 then, we felt like were were at a winnable position, but in reality the task was really uphill from then on.
Again, because of IPL, we expected the team to chase down 100 of 10 overs, but not every ground is Chinnaswamy and not every bowling attack is our RCB.

Whether bhuvi plays or not jadeja should come in side in place of jadhav as I won't recommend shami to drop after the brilliant performance in only the three chances he got and if kl is unfit or not Pant should open he would provide aggressive start like jayasurya did for sl or sehwag in yester years and dk would be our finisher along with hardik
