I feel the last 5 matches have been Competitive enough. That's 5/9

BAN vs NZ
India VS SA - Although India won by 6 wickets, for any1 who closely watched the match would agree that India were in trouble at one point with Rabada breathing fire.
SL vs AFG - Match kept swinging like a pendulum
Pak vs Eng
SA vs Ban - Was fun to see Ban tightening the screws in the middle overs (2nd innings)

Compare it with WC 2011 in which out of the first 9 matches, the competitive matches score was 2/9
Compare it with WC 2015 the score was 3/9

Now a days cricket match will be interesting only with batting pitches for example one team has to get target of 300 plus and another team has to chase it.it should be a close game.after introduction of t20 international one day format looks boring only batting friendly wicket can save odi matches.we can't wait to see taking singles in most of the game for target of 227 or 245.
Too many dot balls singles will make this format bore.who want to see bowlers throughout the match.

Don't agree with you bro match with average total between 250 to 280 are much more interesting than team scoring 300
There are people like me who likes to watch close contest between bat and bowl and enjoys bowling as much as batting as if there is no challenging conditions even in odi then odi definitely become boring
The reason behind great batsman are great bowlers and vice versa

What about bowlers. If you want batting pitches then why bowlers will play in playing XI, select all XI batsman .
Please appreciate bowlers also. We need always balance pitches not batting friendly.

Agreed instead play along side with bowling machine rather than with bowlers than

Yes..we need good pitch where bat and ball contest evenly.
There are slow pitches where the scoring rate will be less, match might not be more interesting.
But with true bouncy pitches even though the scores are less, the match will be more interesting.
