I don't see any change in our team ranking for ODI..
RSA is not a number one side if I talk about their recent form and performance as a team..
I thought we would become a number 1 ODI side as well if we beat Sri Lanka by 5-0..

Bro as per ICC ranking strongest side earns less rating against weak team.

If rating difference between 2 teams more than 40 then nothing to earn;)

Virat Kohli is now on 887 points – equaling the highest ODI rating points by an India batsman, recorded by Sachin Tendulkar in 1998.

After 15 wickets in the SLv Ind ODI series, Jasprit Bumrah has jumped a massive 27 places in the MRF Tyres ICC ODI Bowling Rankings to a career high fourth!

How to calculate ICC Team Rankings?

Check first ICC T20I Ranking Updated on 6th Sep, 2017

4 teams considered as example.

1. Pakistan
2. India (rating points difference between Pakistan is less than 40)
3. Bangladesh (more than 40 rating points against Pakistan)
4. World XI (unranked team)

1. If rating difference between two teams less than 40 points.

Pakistan v India

A. If Pakistan wins
Then
Pakistan...
116+50 = 166
(166+2417)/21 = 123
India...
121-50 = 71
(71+2328)/21 = 114

B. If India wins
Then
Pakistan...
116-50 = 66
(66+2417)/21 = 118
India...
121+50=171
(171+2328)/21 = 119

C. If match ties
Then
Pakistan...
(116+2417)/21 = 121
India...
(121+2318)/21 = 117

2. If rating difference between two teams more than 40 points.

A. If Pakistan wins
Then
Pakistan...
121+10 = 131
(131+2417)/21 = 121
Bangladesh...
78-10 = 68
(68+1168)/16 = 77

B. If Bangladesh wins
Then
Pakistan...
121-90 = 31
(31+2417)/21 = 117
Bangladesh...
78+90 = 168
(168+1168)/16 = 84

C. If match ties
Then
Pakistan...
(78+2417)/21= 119
Bangladesh...
(121+1168)/16 = 81

#If I'm official of ICC Team Rankings when ranked team playing against unranked team. (It's not official)

A. If Pakistan wins
Then
Pakistan (121+2417)/21 = 121 ( rating points remains same only match played count would change)

B. If Unranked team ties/ wins
Then
Pakistan (0+2417)/21 = 115 ( tie=loss against unranked team)

*Rating points system in ODIs & Tests will remains same only change in test tie=draw.

#Note : I know many peoples are knows how calculates Ranking, but shared for those peoples who unknown this system!)
Let me know if there any wrong found.
