Hyundai Motor India Limited, the wholly owned subsidiary of South Korean car giant, today organised a test drive for its newly launched all new Fluidic Verna car.
Boasting of futuristic look and having several features of cutting edge technology the Fluidic Verna Sedan in its new avtar had recently been launched to create a new benchmark of upper mid-size cars in India, said Mr Rajiv Mitra, General Manager, Corporate Communications, Hyundai India.

Speaking to newsmen after the 100-odd-km test drive, undertaken by a select group of journalists through the busy city roads and its neighbourhood, Mr Mitra said the new Verna pioneered a host of premium and futuristic design elements based on 'Fluidic Sculpture Design Philosophy'.

He said the new Verna also boasted of a number of features which were specially developed for the Indian edition of the car. Among these was the feature of 'cluster ioniser' which was aimed at improving the quality of air inside the vehicle by producing ion-plasma which trapped bacteria and other impunities while the Air conditioning system was on.

Asked about the safety features of the new car, Mr Mitra claimed that Verna was now packed with an array of world class effective safety technlogies to enable the occupants to enjoy the benefits of travelling in one of the safest mid-size sedan.

Because of these unmatched safety features new Verna was awarded a five star safety rating by the 'China-New Car Assesnment Programme' (C-NCAP) this year, Mr Mitra stated.
