They can go for 1080p in case of TV apps atleast. Gaming actually needs a good streaming quality and resolution to be enjoyed on TV

As per their 2019 Presentation their focus is on Android mobile, not TV, may be because of dominance of SD tv in India

Hotstar plans to localize Disney+ movies and shows by dubbing or by adding subtitles in several Indian languages
While in the US Disney+ will be priced at $7/month, Hotstar will stick to its current subscription plans of ₹299/month and ₹999/year

Hulu will not come to India.Everything from Disney will flow to Hotstar in India. Hotstar only lacks a kids section(cartoon).From Disney's library hope it will get rectified soon.
