Few days back, I have read an article that few others cities name such as Lucknow, Hyderabad, Faridabad, Aurangabad etc also be changed soon.

Those are capable to do changing state names , rupee note colors , building statue , demo like blunders etc...

The government thinks Allahabad and Ahmedabad are too Muslim to be kept as the names of Hindu cities. Then what about the capital of J&K (both the summer and winter capital)? Those are Hindu names.

They are not changing name because of muslims majority_ minority,they r changung them because they are made to change from thier original name by earlier rulers. Dont bring hindu muslim here.
And about j&k
Call shree nagar islamabad or whatever. Will u go there then?
And about jammu, jammu name derived from earlier king of jammu city (jambu जम्बू लोचन) which later becomes jammu.
