Many of us have long argued that, whatever its problems, India is one of the best long-term bets in the world for one simple reason: It has the sort of world-class institutions that can help build and sustain a genuine market economy.
Sadly, many of those same institutions are being undermined by the country’s own leaders — most recently the Reserve Bank of India, which Prime Minister Narendra Modiappear intent on subjugating as part of his bid for reelection. Of all people, Modi should recognize that no election victory is worth giving up on India’s best chance at becoming a world-beating economy.

Mr. Patel was eased out by the modi to bring in a “YES MAN” person to occupy the post. “RBI Governor Urjit Patel has been eased out since he refused to allow the Modi govt to plunder ₹three lakh crore of RBI reserves. Now Modi govt will get a more pliable RBI governor who will allow this loot,”
Will the money be utlised for famers loan or to please his corporate mitron?

It will be foolhardy to diminish these institutions for short-term political gains.”

True,They let corporates to loot us,then got money from them inelection funding,selling pro Bjp propaganda and befooling public on tv(As most of news channels are owned by them)kinda things,
indirectly looting Public.
The yearly election donation got by bjp is neaabout 280 crores they made a 1100 crore rs office in Delhi?
News channel never asks these questions,instead when bjp is in danger,they divert topic to either Pak China or religion
But when we netizens put forward these acrions,Bhakts and pesudo-nationalists paid by Bjp IT cell starts passing personal comments,then play the victim/religion card,divert the topic to China Pakistan,and run from the debate
