Google has confirmed that it is trialling videos that automatically start playing when they appear in its search results.
The test comes at a time when its rival Apple is preparing to make it easier to prevent videos from self-starting within its web browser.
Facebook has also faced criticism for recently automatically turning on sound for auto-play videos on its platform.

Same here. Specially Html5 videos are creating lots of issues. Edge cannot block it, Bydefault Chrome doesnot allow blocking it and blocking extensions works on some site sometimes doesn't work, this forced me to switch chrome and after 7-8 years gap I am back to Firefox. And thanks to its Default settings to block Html5 I am Enjoying peaceful quite life. Thank you Mozilla :kiss

I am also not a fan of
auto play of videos.. Will use Mozilla after blocking html5.
I dont like Facebook auto play of video as well..
