NEW DELHI: Internet search giant Google has refreshed the mobile version of its popular Gmail.

The latest additions to the Gmail for mobile includes 'pull down to refresh' feature. This means users can now pull down to refresh their message list and conversation on all iOS and Playbook devices. To refresh, users need to touch the message list, drag downwards and release.

For users using Gmail for mobile on an iPhone 4 Retina display, the icons and graphics are now at a higher resolution.

Google has also added a new screen transition feature that according to the company blog, when a user taps on a conversation, taps back to the inbox, or goes to the menu or back, the view will slide left or right.
