With Live View in Google Maps, see the way you need to go with arrows and directions placed right on top of your world. Getting out of a subway? Quickly orient yourself and know which way to turn. Exploring a new place? Get around with more confidence. There’s no second guessing or missing another turn with directions on what you see.

Live View in Google Maps requires up to date Google Street View imagery and bright outdoor light and therefore may not work at all times or in all areas. Actual conditions may differ from what you see on your screen. Please pay attention to your surroundings, follow applicable traffic laws and signs, and exercise independent judgment.

You’ll start seeing Live View in the transit tab and Location Sharing on Android and iOS in the coming weeks, along with a more accurate pin.
