If I have recharged incorrect plan by mistake, is it possible to claim refund from airtel? In how many days do I need to raise a request and what will happen to my service validity (will that also get reversed once refund is issued?)
If you can call same day, then they will definetly refund the amount and validity will change, I got refund for advance recharge plan due to its validity overlap the existing plan, so they refunded within 24 hrs.

After you got refund, what happened to the validity, did it get retained as per your correct intended plan (i.e. did it correctly give you number of days excluding the recharge for which refund was issued)?

No it's not the server issues. Even to their gateway I see 7-10 ms only very high skill issues from Airtel in Chennai for both fiber and mobile network. It's just sh#t
A few months ago, I made a final attempt by again raising a pgportal complaint to correct the 4G antenna alignment at my location to fix the overlapping issues. They adjusted the nearest site, making it point towards my house, but they didn't change the other site, leaving it in the same overlapping direction. Now, indoors, the overlapping issues are somewhat okay, and the FDD bands are stable. However, if I go outside the house or near the door, the nodes start changing.

I spoke with the drive test guy who takes the signal readings and works for ericsson through another contract company. He was the same person who visited my place 4 years ago. He mentioned that, previously, there were dedicated drive test agents for each region—Chennai North, East, South, and West. But now, most of them left and he is the only person managing the East, west and South regions. Even for tower maintenance, the drive test guy said that one person is now responsible for maintaining 150 towers. In broadband also, the field staffs seems reduced, causing delays in fixing broadband complaints.

Bruh that's very depressing to hear. I see that's the reason for downfall in Airtel's quality. They still couldn't identify that Uplink modulation has been 16QAM in LTE since 2022 now. Did you try complaining about the uplink modulation issue throughout chennai?

See the FDD-TDD CA issue here B3,1 eNB range is 5xx, B40 6xx and B8 7xx.

Since I don't have root not able to use NSG. For this antenna correction itself these guys cried a lot and that also done half baked. It seems they don't care about optimization even if we complain with proper evidence. In the drive test if they see 10-20mbps speed they will argue that there is no issues. It seems the benchmark is set very low in airtel and they are looking to squeeze as much as possible using low resources.

And even after showing live speed fluctuations with eNB changing the rigger who corrected the nearest site antenna direction told "I cannot change the other site antenna alignment it will lead to 100s of GBs traffic drop".

What uplink are you getting on B3? Here It's 12Mbps max for 20MHz block in the mrng

Lol that's the level of knowledge these Airtel guys have. When I raised a complaint for 16QAM uplink back in 2023 they tried hard to convince me it's not an issue and 64QAM works only in the best signal. I had to close the complaint cuz they weren't ready to understand and fix it.
