Jio/Airtel investment too high on 5G and equipments, they're working different way to sell 5G with Products. else it's very difficult to breakeven of their investments.

Airtel ultimately win against jio if they offers on their every products. Reliance/jio entering in every sector, unlikely they sustain for long term nobody can't manage everything in same time.
Airtel can win only if they manage to put a family of 4 with postpaid plans+Broadband(200Mbps atleast)+DTH under 1999 monthly. Otherwise it's no go. At the most 2199. Airtel has to do lot of work in this regard. Airtel broadband plans are atrocious. 1Gbps should come below 2499 per month from Airtel. Otherwise it's not possible for Airtel to get the revenue they are expecting. They are actually wasting resources and a chance to get good revenue.

Also, Airtel has to start thinking of 5G tariffs. Waiting for Jio to announce is not a good thing. If you want to become profitable in long term, you have to act proactively. Otherwise it will be too late. They have to top up spectrum in Band 1/3 atleast in next auction if they are not going 700Mhz way. I hope 600Mhz is opened up as well and Jio gathers more spectrum in 700Mhz for better uploads. By next auction, everybody will have 5G phone and 5G on band 3/40/1 is needed badly. Otherwise N78 will be choked again.

@TheAndroidFreak Bro tell me the reason. At least at my place Jio is better.

Railwire, Asianet, BSNL, Keralavision are other available ones, better one compared is Jio.
Even though asianet is giving 100Mbps now at 499 i wont believe them for 1%
BSNL is now offering 6month connection at 50Mbps speed with free modem at 2400.
But both of them are not consistent.

Airtel is available by 1 KM away from my home, and i dont think they will ever come to our place, almost filled by Jio and Railwire.

It's costly for what it's offering. It's wasting their own resources and investment. As a largest FTTH provider in India, they should have made it affordable and accessible to all. They haven't done it yet after three to four years of launch. I am paying just 10499, for 300Mbps for 2 years except OTT though. I am sure they will charge for OTT as well really soon. Waiting for 5G tariffs as well. At 3999 for 1Gbps(Airtel is delivering far better quality and customer service than Jio, not just FTTH, but normal users of prepaid as well), it's atrocious pricing to be honest. It's should be somewhat between 1999-2499. If they keep this pricing, more and more people will join this and they will get investment back really soon. This free kind of thing has ruined India in last so many years and continue to do so.

Airtel can’t beat Jio in near future with super premium tariffs and now Jio is in content area also to target Hotstar. So, Airtel growth is with the help of Vi collapse and its postpaid users. Even Airtel can’t beat TATA Play in DTH sector also.

In future Everyone hike and introduce super premium traiffs, don't even think everything they sell for free like Welcome offer. Can't say anything about DTH sector Tata play have New satellite GSAT-24 doesn't mean they're ruling and other DTH players sleeping, every DTHs have own strategies.

Airtel always gives Jio specific offers to its users, even they have thier own tariffs, So, who is afraid of whom? Airtel might still sell DSL broadband @ 999 per month, if Jio is not in Fiber broadband.

Ever since Airtel discontinued the Rs.99 pack, I have been continuously recharging with Rs.155 & it has always been 28 days validity for me, along with 1 GB data for the whole 28 days (My circle is Tamil Nadu).

Also, Airtel gives Rs.10 as cashback for this pack if we use Airtel Wallet for payment (via Airtel Thanks app). The cashback for Rs.179 pack is Rs.20.

I recharged just a while ago with 155 & received the same benefits again (28 days, unlimited calls, 1GB data, 300 SMS).

I also got an Amazon Pay cashback of Rs.10 by paying the 155 using Amazon Pay Wallet in the Airtel Thanks app. (It was a 10 to 50 offer, but as usual Amazon gave me the least possible amount. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽🤦🏽‍♂️)
