As per jio website there is no such 4G unlimited plan exists and it may be available for selective people's. Postpaid is a big trap. I was in Vi 3G postpaid 10 years before , once the quota exceed they will charge 10paise/10KB. Those days many from our office used to a get a bill of 15k to 20k. Slowly we all came out of VI and switched to Airtel.
I personally don't recommend postpaid even though it has bill cap.
I also remember before that launch of jio 4G they gave sims to selected handsets and offered free unlimited 4G.
That time I purchased one jio phone and used it through hotspot and even I cut broadband at my home for some period. Later the scheme of unlimited was discontinued.
jio Postpaid 649 plan has unlimited 4G data and also unlimited 5G data

Supreme Court Rejects VoId's (and Airtel as well) waiver of AGR Penalty, Interest and interest on Penalty today. Possibility of VoId getting Bankrupt by March 2026 (if not earlier) is very very high. Annual Liability of VoId wrt just AGR is around Rs18,000 Crores, due on March 2026.

Later BSNL owns VI and then it claims BSNL Digital transformation.

Stage is getting set to own VI by BSNL..

Repeated statement from Mr Moodra

"Bank want more clarity on AGR dues" even after filing 3 times petition in SC and twice conversion of due into equity

He said banks needed more clarity on the AGR issue, but the recent conversion of of spectrum dues into government equity has been a big step forward. “…banks would (still) want some clarity on the AGR dues, but…it is not preventing the discussions from going forward.

it feels like begging under disguise of blackmailing

Actually it is like Pure blackmailing without even a tiny leverage, which is outright absurd. But, the Govt totally deserves this "dis-Respect" from VoId. Govt did gave way more support to VoId and for return, VoId did almost nothing except wanting more and more support (incl ridiculous ones) from Govt. Govt did all this, in order to have some competition and avoid duopoly. But they forgot that, we ARE already in DuoPoly. Presence of VoId didn't change the fact. Their presence didn't helped poor consumers as their tariff is greater than Jio and almost equal to Airtel, but their network is nowhere near to "The DuoPoly". Simply put, VoId's presence is NOT affecting DuoPoly and similarly their absence will also be. So Govt's efforts are totally worthless, imho.

Now I think, Govt should have given this much support to BSNL instead of VoId. At least they are given some relief to poor people, but of course their network is the Worst.

Do you even know what DOT did? And how can you say that "government should have given this much support to BSNL instead of Vi" ?
Do you know how government has helped BSNL till now?
Also, 60-70 Million Subscribers Of Vi are 2G Users Which Recharge With Bottom Line Plans, I Think You Should Do Some More Research.

Which Recharge With Bottom Line Plans
Do you know the recharge value of VoId's "Bottom Line Plans"??? Is that cheaper than BSNL or almost comparable to Airtel? Do you know, if those "Bottom Line Plans" are cheaper than Jio/Airtel and slightly costlier than BSNL, VoId would have captured the vast second SIM market and stopped subscriber losses? You may argue that it will reduce the ARPU. But, they are giving FREE data to non-recharging customers, which is also killing their ARPU. Instead of giving FREEBIES to non-recharging customers, they should reduce the "Bottom Line" tariff plan for regular recharging Poor customers.

Simply put, you can NOT charge premium tariff, if your network is NOT premium.
I Think You Should Do Some More Research.
Same to you.

This is key why VI is struggling, they keep increasing charges but without improving the network.

Few months i took VI sim to test the network, no 5G , bad 4g coverage, many times no VOLTE, NO VOWIFI and even latched to 2G network, was shocked to see getting G icon as data.

I tried to use VI as my primary but couldn't survive for 24 hrs in Hyderabad. They should try strategies like aircel did, offer cheap prices and increase customer base, you get more customer and more money, there is one definitely market for this.
