What's the ambr now ? B3 is 10Mhz but due to 2G running on DSS it's acting like 5 or 8Mhz giving ~40-45Mbps only and B1 alone maxes for me at ~90Mbps. Total CA speed throttled at ~120Mbps.
Also due to less number of sites in Vi signal is cleaner than airtel. Vi has one site for every 500mts in my location while airtel & Jio has one for every 250-300mts.

B3 is full 49RB non DSS now but the performance isn't as good as B1

Oh then I think only 1.4Mhz used for 2G. Maybe after hardware upgrade B3 might improve. Now they might be using mix of idea and vodafone hardwares. Having less load is a perk for using Vi.

Last year they messed up optimisation. HW is only Idea's Huawei used for Chennai no issues in that

Oh, also continues usage of Vi is creating heating issues for me. Are you facing it ? Also what happened to Nokia B1 of Vodafone?

Yeah it's common with Vi and Airtel due to high Tx power usage

I wonder how idea got B1 huawei because they had no 3G in TN. Maybe they have swapped it from other huawei circle.

Those could be new orders during integration but some of the RRUs support Dual band 1800+2100

Now they need to swap to nokia hardwares again. For that they might buy new or get it from some other nokia circle.
