To those interested (KA circle)
There is one postpaid plan for Govt. employees only, from Vi, that offers unlimited calls, 20 GB data and 100 SMS (not sure per month or per day).
This costs ₹199 + GST. You can ask for this plan at nearest Vi store.

I requested to port vi into airtel, Vi send me text" we will received your input, we will send you confirmation request shortly, After 1 hour, no port confirmation sms received by me and when i tried again to send text to 1909 for porting, My Vi network shows emergency calls status. i waited for next day today, i tried to send port sms again, today it shows can't able to send to message.

i think vi doesnt want me to port my no to any network, this is very bad trick to let customer on their network.

Vi 5G (probable Test Signal) Speed Test, Bengaluru.

Got to do more tests on Vi MEGAnet 5G today on their only 5G tower in Karnataka. (Yes, only one tower in entire circle, at the time of writing.)

As usual, speeds are capped to 20-30 Mbps range. They better rebrand to 'MEGAnet 5G' at this point. 'GIGAnet' is an insult to vodafone.
To add to the pain, total 500 MB gone from available data quota.
These clowns 🤡 are not giving unlimited 5G even during their trial phase.

In other news:

1. Vi is expanding 4G coverage/capacity by 25% in 9 out of 17 Priority circles. Yes, Priority within Priority circles. (Not sure which ones are priority in this new list.)
2. 5G will be rolled out in 'top cities' across 17 priority circles. (May be 17 towers only, 1 tower per circle)
3. Supreme Court has dismissed Vi's petition regarding AGR (serves them right for deducting 5G data from available data quota)

I have two Vi numbers, both in my name, is it possible to transfer main balance from one number to another? Secondary SIM has Rs 1,000 in main balance and I cant use it for anything. I would prefer it to be on other number.

In Vi (When Vodafone was available),
A few years ago, balance transfer could be done by paying some transfer fees, but at present there is no such service is available.

For my knowledge, the VI should be at the top in above all sections(except the coverage), Because the concurrent users are less for their allocated towers, so they can easily reach the top position. Most of the VI customers are keypad mobile users (2G Only).

But JIO & Airtel had more users and the most congested networks during prime time. So their speed is too low to compare with VI.

I am from Mumbai circle and I can mostly confirm with this reports. I agree with your all things, but two things I don't agree. Airtel is not that great in 5G. 4G yes quiet fast, but coverage is lacking with respect to Airtel. Airtel premium is just big scam.
