My Jio 1 year plan goes expire on next month. i use jio only for internet. no calling i required.
plz suggest can i take below plan.
there are 1208/- plan. (1208 240 days 240GB & Disney+ Hotstar)

Yes you can go with this above options which I also thought it is great bcoz u get hotstar + Disney Subscription at free of cost,
IPL is coming on this platform also...

Bro some one is saying this is add on pack. Add on pack means it's only add in your current pack and valid till current pack validity.
But I want this pack after my first pack expire.
2ndly can I use 50/- balance recharge for emergency calling purpose if I need with this pack

You will require to recharge atleast ₹129 base plan to make calls. You will also need to be actively be on a base plan to get Hotstar VIP. ₹1208 is a add on plan. It doesn't carry voice and sms benefits. Your Hotstar benefit will also forefeit without any base plan.

If Jio makes such packs as standalone instead of add-on it would be an even sweeter deal.

For calling u need any active plans starts 129
With only data pack calling will not works u cant call from main balance

i am sharing some screen shots.
1 SS. Same plan shows in two places at Jio Apps. (1. Under 4g Data VC>cricket pack>disney+hotstar pack) Not mention data add on pack
2 SS same plan shows at under Jio Cricket>exc Ltd period upgrade offer>data add on pack (here this is mention data add on pack)
3.SS. Rs.1208/-, 1206/-, 1004/- packs shown validity days but Rs. 612/- plan is showing Existing plan.
4.SS. Rs. 1208/- terms & condtions not shown Active base plan.
5.SS. Rs.612/- terms & conditios shown active base plan.
so its not clear that Rs.1208/- plan is add on plan
