Jio has a temporary suspension feature. If you suspend the sim and have a queued plans coming. Post expiry of the existing plan. Queued plan will get activated. Despite having the connection suspended.

If we temporarily suspend then current plan will not get expired and queue plan will not activated
Btw I am interested to know more about temporary suspension

Plan will get expired and the queued plans will indeed get activated.

Then what is the temporary suspension scheme is for
Example: in tata sky if we take temporary suspension then validity extended for same day equal to suspension period

To suspend your number I think.

Let us know when you get full details
That's the full detail itself. You can suspend your number. It gets disabled until you resume it. But you existing plans as well as queued plans still gets deducted despite your sim be disabled.

How to Do ?

Log in to Jio's website. Select settings from homepage. You will find suspend and resume there.

Do we need to get a new Sim Card if we want to resume it again? or we can just use the current Sim Card?
