no, I didn't receive that kind of SMS

I recived this SMS from jio (your plan for jio no. ... expires tomorrow...) I've recharged with 509 yesterday and my new plan will activate tomorrow (2 gb/day for 56 days)

Yup.. i too received it an hour back..
even though i had taken the sim through eKYC only.
i think there's no need to do again.
