The BCCI has reportedly decided to reintroduce the old rule stating that the wives and family members of Indian team players will not be allowed to accompany them for the entire duration of a tour.

For tournaments or series lasting more than 45 days, wives or family members can stay with the players for a maximum of 14 days. For shorter tours, the limit is reduced to just seven days.
