I think something similar happened few months back when Airtel added Zee tamil HD in their app but not in DTH. I think it later got added in DTH months later.

Yes Zee Tamil HD First Added TV, Then Airteltv App. This is The First Time Airteltv App Added Channel So Earlier.

Bros actually Zee Tamil HD logo added on Airtel TV app commercials telecasted on TV and based on that Addition is expected in next few days but Channel added only after 6 months during August after Independence day while the commercials was produced and ran on TV Starting exactly during the same time last year during Pongal Season in January.
