“In 2024, the Japanese Grand Prix will move to a new slot in April – between races in Australia and China – as part of F1’s efforts to rationalise its calendar, creating a more efficient flow of races and reducing the distance that freight travels around the world as part of its journey to become net zero carbon by 2030,” read an official statement from F1.
