Discussion Facing Issues in iPhone 15 Plus

Hi All,

Hope everyone is doing well.

So I had purchased a new iPhone 15 Plus 128GB few months back. Currently the phone is running iOS 18.2.1.

It came with iOS 17.xx, dont remember, and as soon it was set up, i upgraded to iOS 18.0. The phone was working good, and updated to iOS 18.2 as well.

Even since then i started facing frame drops, and UI lags, and animation issues. It happens randomly, and not always, but yes on a daily basis. Another issue is that iof the phone is in the pocket, and u get a call, the screen gets frozen and the touch does not work. They only way is to press the power button to decline the call and lock/unlock the phone, after which is gets back to normal.

I feel its something related to the software. Tried factory reset / hard restart, but no help.

Anyone who has iPhone 15 series can pls check if they are also having similar issues.

Regarding the issue of the phone hanging after taking out from the pocket is a known/ legacy problem of iPhones. I personally use 15 plus and there is no other problems other than the pocket hang issue.

Bro my iphone15 plus on 18.0, no issues till now.

15Plus iOS 18.1.1 no issues as of now.

Another issue i found was that sometimes the battery drops by 10% overnight when in idle state. No apps in background, WiFI/BT/Airdrop turned OFF.

Seen no Apps draining battery in idle state as well. Wonder what the issue is ?

Apart from this issue, Home and Lock Screen seems to be taking a lot more battery time/screen on time. Pls find screenshots below

Can anyone using 15 Plus, pls check this on their phones under Settings=> Battery stats and confirm if they are having same issue ?

Check your widgets on Home Screen and the -1 screen. If they update constantly it may contribute here ig

There are no Widgets on my home scree (App Pages), however there are widgets bt default on the widgets page of the home screen.
I tried deleting all of them, and tested however no changes.
