To be honest, 5th Test was most boring Test compared to previous 4 tests.

England were very poor in 5th Test hence it was very boring one sided match

Now even more boring series coming up in Home (BCCI)

September 2024 - Bangladesh (2 Test)
October- November 2024 - New Zealand (3 Test)

So this win against Eng at home makes Rohit the automatic choice as captain when we tour down under. Which am afraid will be starting the tour on a wrong foot. Rohit is such a boring and timid captain, at any moment in the game he let's the game drift.He clearly doesn't understand how to handle fast bowlers. Rahane and Kohli were the best in handling fast bowlers. Also no bharat Arun as bowling coach. This Indian team management also is nowhere near the last regime under Shastri to manage workload.
One thing India can do for sure is to keep Ks Bharat, Mukesh Kumar and Certain fellow Named KL Rahul out of the team. And bring in Pant and hopefully Shami after his injury.
Just hope we compete in Australia. Australia are in a decline as well.

We don't have other choice in captaincy other than Rohit as of now, Pant could have been captain the side if he didn't get the accident, but as of now we don't have any other choice.
Rohit / Dravid - doing a decent job , if not great, We have to hope this combination to bring the success in upcoming tours and ICC events.
