Do you think IPTV will give uninterrupted services? In FTTH there is a chance of fiber cut some occasions and incase of wireless there is a bandwidth issue when number of users are more. Airfibers are struggling during rainy days.I have DTH on heavy rain days dth signals have issue on those days I feel if IPTV while there that problem is solved.
Rain comes only few times a year. And majority of time DTH still works during cloud or rain. But fiber-cut has a possibility to occur every week due to varying reason including heavy rain & storm as well.I have DTH on heavy rain days dth signals have issue on those days I feel if IPTV while there that problem is solved.
Big Telcos Airtel and Jio can subsidize pay channels cost in their iptv (approx Rs.250-300) in monthly fiber bill, that too without NCF.What advantage will IPTV be serving compared to DTH & Cable? It's not like we'll be getting channels for cheaper. It will follow the same NTO. On top of that it will share speeds with the other devices connected to the Wi-Fi. It will stop working if internet speeds are slow or there is a fiber cut. No real advantage other than the convenience of paying the same bill for both internet and TV, that too just once a month, saving like 2 minutes in total.
I feel the real reason why people are hell-bent on wanting IPTV is just because everyone is bored of using regular DTH & cable for so many years, and want to try out something new.![]()
You guys are too optimistic.Big Telcos Airtel and Jio can subsidize pay channels cost in their iptv (approx Rs.250-300) in monthly fiber bill, that too without NCF.So, fiber users eagerly waiting for iptv

Monkeys chewing the wires. Local cable wala going rogue to promote his own broadband service. Possibilities are endless. But fiber-cut has a possibility to occur every week due to varying reason including heavy rain & storm as well.
This is routine here. Multiple times every week.Monkeys chewing the wires. Local cable wala going rogue to promote his own broadband service. Possibilities are endless.
