Jio Airfiber will be another threat for DTH/Cable TV as they might offer all pay and FTA channels with STB for Rs.236/- (Rs.200+GST for OTT addon) to broadband Internet connected homes in Villages/Small Towns.

Don't you think OTTs won't allow these things, Remember there are two things satellite/Digital Rights in Media industry. they might offer some B Grade channels like Dangal, Atrangii, shopping movie channels or Bhojpuri channels.

even if they offer as you mentioned amount it's going to badly effect those broadcasters own streaming platforms only, nobody subscribe their platforms. that's why Sony remove channels from streaming platform.

No bro, Consumers can save TRAI's bloody NCF if they prefer Internet and TV service from same provider like Jio except Airtel.

I think Star doesn't streaming any channels which Downlinking from satellite in India, maybe your saying without logos dummy digital channels of hotstar.

These are digital channels playing from its OTT, which are not part of TRAI’ s NTO. Govt of India is not controlled/regulated OTTs till date, even calling in WhatsApp is permitted.

Now i understand what you saying is Whatever Reliance/Jio bringing TRAI's regulations saying correct and others complaints rejected, means there will seriously backdoor deal happening. Sometimes these things backfire them, who knows airtel may offer internet on their DTH in that TRAI/Govt loophole.
