Yeah, didn't encounter ads either. Although lacks download option.

The premium subscription offers ad free streaming. So ads will come soon.

Checked on Android Tv and Fire TV Stick 4K, not available on both, seems they'll be launching it officially after few days, this is just kind of beta testing and checking the response for app.

They might be launching Android TV app as users are more compared to firestick
