Hmm... Even star india is showing all these very frequently across its channels just like zee is doing for movies going out of its library. Hope that Sony picks it up and we see a bollywood centric channel in near future, no other network can match quality of transmission provided by sony network

I think Netflix is the reason behind SRK deal since Sony has great relationship with Netflix India except YRF movies and some other movies on Sony Liv all other movies in Sony Liv are on Netflix plus SPNs Soorma first Netflix premiere so Sony got the movies due to Netflix influence.

Star should have the acquisition as they have only three AK movies - Dhobi Ghat, Mangal Pandey and Ishq.

Star has lots of other films to compensate they don't care about Aamir khan films they have deals with Ajay, Hrithik and YRF as well. Except mangal pandey - (regular on Select) and Ishq (Baba Arts) Dhobi Ghat has aired less than other films. Plus they will spoil it airing regularly. 3 id*ots still airs on prime time even after 10 years.
