1. whats guarantee that these new notes never make counterfeits?
2. What will happen to common people for next 2 days?

The problem of black money is not one of 500 and 1000 notes but the loads of money stashed in Swiss banks. For lack of political will to bring back the money stashed away, this gimmick of declaring 500 and 1000 as not legal tender overnite and limiting transactions. Will the money held by politicians and corporates be affected? Are they going to go and stand in atms and banks in queue? This move will only affect the general public.

1. Govt is spending a lot of money to make these new notes with high security features. The cost is very high for duplication & also will be very hard to duplicate, so it will be almost very tough to make fakes as they can be identified easily.
2. I know you don't agree with this government's moves. But if you had studied well all their actions, you wouldn't say that. From SIT to IDS to today's announcement everything was very well planned and is not a gimmick. Did you see wherever Modi went, almost all countries did a treaty to prevent black money & tax avoidance treaties. Also, enquiry is going on against those with money in other countries. Tracing of money is also done with foreign govt's help. Also, you say 500 & 1000 notes is a gimmick, but think of those who have stashed black money in their homes, they can do nothing about it. It's gone. This move will surely cause a little inconvenience to everyone, but is going to be very helpful is stopping corruption. As always opposition will be there. But common people will benefit the most in the long run.

You can be 100 % assured that these notes will also be counterfeit but look at larger benifit.

You cannot just invade an independent country and take over their central bank to get your money back  ;)

It's a long term process and Govt is pressurising swiss authority and have already signed tax agreement with them according to which they have given the list of indian whose money is in Swiss banks HSBC account and criminal proceedings are underway.

Effect : India slips to 75th position with Rs 8,392 crore held by Indians from 61 last year while it used to among top-50 countries in terms of holdings in Swiss banks till 2007

But we should not forget that if there is Rs 10 black money held outside india then there is Rs100 black money held within India as only 1% people pay income tax here in india, we cannot leave them.  :no

Now benefit of this demonetization : The situation of black money holders are same as beggar sleeping on street as they are sleeping on Mattress made of cheap paper instead of 500 or 1000 rupee note bundle :lol

Do u think all black money holder possess physical notes at their house? Instead of this, they invest that in Land, Property and Gold or they transfer it to Swiss Bank through hawala, hundi... what will happen with them??
and u saying, little inconvenience will be there?? Then I think u r from rich family, U don't know what is financial crisis. My neighbour withdraws 40000 for his daughter marriage , last day at about 2pm. What will he do now with so much money. I don't have so much 50/100 currency to bear daily expanses of next 2 days...What will I do??? from ATM, we are only getting here either system Error message or 500/- notes.... :wall :wall :wall
