A sessions court will pronounce the
judgment in the 2002 alleged hit
and run case involving actor Salman
Khan on may 6 Judge D W
Deshpande announced the date
before a packed court room today.
The announcement follows the
culmination of a trial that
commenced in April last year. Khan
will have to be present on the day of
judgement.
 
MUMBAI: The S&P BSE Sensex fell
nearly 200 points in intraday trade

and Rajiv Gandhi will no more figure
in the annual awards given by the
MHA on Hindi Diwas for progressive
use of Hindi in government, a move
that Congress said was "proof" of the
central government's "political
vindictiveness".
