“It is very unfortunate that a junior doctor was attacked by some people when the doctors and health workers are giving their supreme sacrifice to save lives of people during this Covid-19 pandemic situation,” a member of the Assam Medical Service Association (AMSA).
“AMSA strongly condemns the incident. We demand the government to arrest each and every culprit and take stern action against them. We also demand the government to make appropriate measures for security of doctors and health workers across the state and install CCTV cameras in each government-run hospital,” the member added.
