Migrant labour will go free; Centre to pay 85%, states 15%: Subramanian Swamy 'clarifies' - Republic World

BJP MP Subramanian Swamy on Monday said that he spoke to Railway Minister Piyush Goyal's Office regarding the Railways decision to charge for tickets for operating special trains for stranded migrant workers amid Coronavirus lockdown. Swamy said that the Migrant labourers will travel free of cost as the government will pay 85% and the state government will pay 15% of the expenses. He added that the Ministry will clarify with an official statement.

do you know the whole procedure to board in Sramik Special Train?
let me tell you
1. earlier, railway announced that the Journey not at all free, but it will cost ₹50 more per head.
say if the sleeper class fare from Mumbai to Delhi is ₹600 then per head cost will be ₹650.
2. this journey is end to end, means train will stop only at final destination station, no intermediate station.
3. if the journey is more than 12 hrs then Boarding station state will provide Food and Water at nominal cost.
4. No Passenger will be able to buy ticket. they have to reach to the respective state Nodal Officer appointed by rail. then Nodal officer will send the passenger list to railway and State Govt for approval.
5. earlier it was declared that all the fare will be collected from state govt only by railway.
6. if state want they can collect the money from passenger or they can give subsidy fully or partially. But Railway will collect teh amount from State Govt.
this was the Criteria. lot of People , Opposition Parties opposed this Idea,
later today Sonia Gandhi Ordered to each state Pradesh Congress to pay all the money . see it can be fruitful for them in near future in election, so we can say its an investment for tomorrow.
BJP got the tricks, they understood if Congress Pays the money then in future question will arise about the good wiliness of their rescue plan.
so now railway giving 85% subsidy and rest will be paid from state govt.
if state Govt wants to give 15% subsidy they can give it or collect the 15% amount from passenges.
now , all those Migrant labour who doesn't have money for Food , stranded at different zone for almost one month without salary in hand , no job in hand , how can they pay the amount? so out of humanity State govt should give full subsidy on 15% amount .
