I assume it can be because the DPI stuff are not there.

DPI isn't done on the ONT as far as I know. So, I don't think so.

Maybe it is just better hardware? Who knows...

Yes bro. Both Airtel IPTV & Jio STB are working fine with this. I have connected the devices to the XX530v wifi network.

On aot5221zy after few minutes it falls back to 1201

Do you have any 160mhz laptop to check if you are continuously getting 2402/2402 speed for upload/download in wifi properties

the AOT5221ZY is very unoptimized, and constantly falls back to 80MHz
You need to provide it severe cooling for it to really work

I just hope they improve it with router firmware update.
I mean for sure 5221 is capable of all modern features its just not optimised well

BTW how did you configure it yourself, i mean dont you have to provide the ISP with the hardware details like mac, serial no, pon ID, etc ??? Asking as i have no much knowledge of how these things work

I don't have a Wi-Fi 6 compatible laptop/desktop to check this, bro.

However, like @IfranAli bro said, AOT-5221ZY is not optimised, so it drops the network speed after some time. That shouldn't be the case with a renowned networking brand router like TP-Link.
