Btw review of Star sports Tamil is commentary bit improved from Ipl but not up to the mark I expected. No Tamil score card in Tamil channel is really disappointing [emoji53] but very much happy that cric live in Tamil [emoji4]

Commentators should avoid speaking English frequently specially badrinath[emoji51]

Muthu and Balaji are awesome[emoji5]

What to expect: It's disappointing but showers are expected throughout the day, roughly around the span of the first innings while it should get clearer in the afternoon. The pitch wears a greenish tinge, which could bring in the fast bowlers even more in the game.

Team News

India: They are unlikely to change the combination that won against Pakistan. The Oval offers a pitch, and conditions, not too dissimilar from the one at Edgbaston. There is no evident injury concern, and so in all likelihood, there is bound to be no big change.

Probable XI: Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, MS Dhoni, Kedar Jadhav, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Umesh Yadav

Sri Lanka: Mathews is back but is fit to play only as a batsman. A suspension leaves Upul Tharanga out of contention while Chamara Kapugedera has been ruled out of the tournament after sustaining a knee injury while practising a day before the game. Sri Lanka will also be mindful of their over-rate which has cost Tharanga, their stand-in captain in the previous game, dear. But that factor shouldn't hamper any of their combination concerns.

Probable XI: Niroshan d*ckwella, Kusal Mendis, Dinesh Chandimal, Angelo Mathews, Kusal Perera, Asela Gunaratne, Thisara Perera, Seekkuge Prasanna, Suranga Lakmal, Lasith Malinga, Nuwan Pradeep

..

Stats and Trivia

- India and Sri Lanka will become the first teams to play 150 ODIs against each other. India have an 83-54 lead overall and since 2008 they have won twice the matches they lost - 34 wins to 17 losses.

- Malinga has conceded over 80 seven times in his ODI career - three more than any other bowler. Three of such instances came against India.

- Virat Kohli needs 164 runs to reach the landmark of 8000 ODI runs. In case he gets it in the upcoming game, he'll become the fastest to the mark, while he'll equal the record of AB de Villiers if he gets to the milestone in two innings.
