Some of these banks worked efficiently independently , I hope after merger to it will run efficiently. one sad news it will do end up laying of jobs of many people .

They could have merged Canara or Syndicate bank with some north india region bank. Our district has Canara and Syndicate banks everywhere. First Vijya and now Syndicate and Corp no more coastal Karnataka region banks.
