Before you ditch your operator to lineup for a BSNL sim card, be warned that there is no such offer like 20GB 3G data for Rs 50 by the state-owned telecom operator. While BSNL is yet to release an official statement, sources confirmed that there is no such offer for consumers.

"BSNL has not officially declared any offer like 20GB 3G data for Rs 50 and neither does the company intends to do so," he said.

A couple of days back several websites reported that BSNL has introduced a new 3G data offer in which prepaid customers will get 20GB data for just Rs 50. The offer sounded too good to be true and started to trend online.

The move from BSNL could have stunned its competitors, and helped attract new subscribers at large, but it is not the case.

The company has said that it has added an average 22 lakh new connections every month in January-March of 2015-16 on the back of rationalisation in tariff rates.

The company, which has announced a slew of measures like free incoming across the country, 80% reduction in call rates for pre-paid customers and the like, plans to intensify its efforts for better network coverage and sharpen focus on customer satisfaction.

Apart from free roaming, BSNL is offering "very competitive" tariff rates such as the per minute plan where it is charging 10 paise per minute for on-Net voice calls and 30 paise/minute for off-Net calls.

Impossible to give such offer its not viable both financially and technically.
Everybody thought that it's not financially and technically possible to go to Mars less than auto fare but we did it so nothing is impossible [emoji6]

yup you are right so wait for some technology to be invented so that it can support such usage at 5 MHz bandwidth. Even 5G will crash if u provide such offer at current technology and userbase.
