If they planned to provide IPTV box , there is no meaning of developing BSNL live TV app with STB ID option.

Let’s confirm with IPTV team.

Can you ask your bsnl provider/office about the issue and tell the answer here..

For me when asked , iptv stb will be provided was the answer they gave .. I don't know how they would implement that.. but if all the ftth users are faced with a choose any one { either iftv or ott apps } issue.. I dont know how it is feasible in the long run .no one would choose iftv in the long run even if it is free. The best thing bsnl should have done is to create the right infrastructure first and then introducing the service instead of making users find all the answers

Weconnect is already giving Triple play boxes. I think the same could used.

Yes bro that I know..I want to know if only my office tells that IPTV box will be provided.. because IFTV is not at all same as IPTV. But with iftv the prob is they dedicate one whole port for iftv in that you can't use internet through the lan cable connected to the port..

if you want to use internet on Your tv you have to sacrifice the iftv during that time because IFTV won't work when wifi is on on your tv..

Since you can't use both iftv and internet (YouTube, hotstar) same time..it's very very difficult. The right way is to bind both iftv and internet on the same port which I don't think bsnl infrastructure can handle or not.. or else ditch the whole idea of IFTV and go back to traditional IPTV like jio tv plus set top box.

The strength of IFTV is also very weak bro .today my video looked very distorted image. I'll show pictures for you to compare the yesterday and today pics of the bsnl iftv

IFTV is nothing but and IPTV only. BSNL is just rephrasing it. Read their policy. I am sure triple play boxes will resolve the issue.

They should provide BSNL Live TV (play store app) with every fiber connection like Jio tv+ app.

Can you share their policy bro.. if they provide the IPTV box it would help a lot.. the old syrotech router can't itself manage both tv and wifi signals which explains the struggling distorted tv video and unstable wifi speeds ( only after the iftv configuration it is happening for me ) . they should implement IPTV boxes as soon as possible.... btw I want to ask if when we use the we connect IPTV will it consume data within the 3.3tb fup ?.the whole idea of IFTV is to seperate iftv data usage and internet data usage

Yes but the whole idea of IFTV and it's related confusion is they want to provide live tv without data connection.. I think jio tv plus stb consumes data . But bsnl iftv doesn't. For their experiment we have been scapegoats I think 🤡

I got a New Idea, using Routing Table, I hope you have added set of static route in the routing table with interface VLAN1900.

Similarly add

Destination : 0.0.0.0/0 or 0.0.0.0
Subnet mask : 255.255.255.0
Gateway : BSNL Gateway which you can identify in WAN Info page
Interface select Internet VLAN

Try this and let me your feedback.

Don't Bind any port in the VLAN Profile section

I need to check this by tomorrow

It says the first digit of ip address ( I think it means destination should start with 1 to 223 )
