An headsup for those who want to try the app..

The app is not standalone but requires a staging app. And that staging app will get installed as a system app on your TV. And more importantly the app requires an update to meet the latest android privacy policies. Right now it is not built for current android version.

Jio tv+ is better option for connected home, which contains all broadcasters OTTs and pay tv alongwith huge FTA channels for just Rs 200/-pm. In DTH/Cable/iptv, you can shellout around Rs 400/- for just all tv channels without any OTTs.

Didn't know we have to pay 200 per month for JioTv+. I thought it was free for Jio broadband customers.

The INR 200 for OTT & On-demand TV is inclusive of the broadband plan prices and isn't charged separately.

I assume @Ashok Varma bro has mentioned it separately to explain Jio's pricing fo Live TV channels.
