Hey , i updated my plan of bsnl ftth to 999 one "Super Star premium plus" ,the plan advertises to give a speed upto 200 mbps, it has been almost 20 days since installation but i am still receiving the old plan's speed that is 100 mbps to be more precise 95 Mbps in the speed test.
What could be the problem? Is there any specific settings that has to be changed in the modem page?
My local vendor gave me syrotech GPON-1110-WDONT , on the manual that i got on their website it says it has 2 lan ports of 10/100/1000Mbps, 100Mbps. Tried on both but the result is still the same, 94-95 mbps is what i am getting.

I assume that your bsnl exchange is capable of handling 200Mbps speeds, because some of the exchanges in rural, tier-2 areas may not have the infrastructure. the mentioned router is capable of handling 200Mbps via LAN as well as Wi-Fi. so, nothing needs to be done at your end. how did you change the plan, online or offline? there is a fair chance that the exchange may not have updated the port speed for you and, hence receiving the old speed. contact local exchange or LCO to update the port speed.
