The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will on Saturday (May 21) felicitate Shashank Manohar who has been elected as the first independent chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
Mr. Manohar resigned as BCCI president a couple of days before the ICC made the announcement as he being the unanimous choice of its 13-member Board. Most members of the BCCI are likely to attend the felicitation function because they would be in the city for the Special GeneralbodyMeeting (SGM) to be held at the Cricket Centre here on Sunday (May 22) to elect the new BCCI president.
