The special general body meeting
(SGM) of the Board of Control for
Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday
(February 19) decided to contest the
recommendations offered by the
committee headed by Justice RM
Lodha, in Supreme Court.
The meeting 'unanimously' authorised
board president Shashank Manohar
and secretary Anurag Thakur to file an
affidavit in response to Lodha panel's
recommendations on the
administrative overhaul of the BCCI.
The SGM also granted Chhattisgarh
State Cricket Sangh (CSCS) the status
of a full member, which would mean
Chhattisgarh will be added as the 28th
team in the Ranji Trophy from next
season. CSCS will be a part of the
Central Zone for all the BCCI
tournaments .. BCCI to contest Lodha panel recommendations in Supreme Court - Cricbuzz
