Atleast they have some smart people above the geniuses who made the plan in the first place. I can recollect 3 Indian based messaging apps, not sure how they work though. Nimbuzz, Hike and Jiochat

I remember using Nimbuzz when it was in its initial days, 2008-10. It used be a client service for G talk, messenger and Yahoo!

Later Symbian OS gone and everyone moved on from those apps. Remade Nimbuzz was not good on other OS. Now it isn't popular anymore.
