Sir Richard Hadlee presents the trophy
to Brendon McCullum. Has a few words
to say as he shakes his hand.
McCullum: I knew about the record
[200 sixes]. I have been so lucky to play
for 14 years and represent my country.
Made some good friends not in my
country but other countries too. Not
many get that opportunity. When you
play against Australia, you have to
play your best cricket. We were good
for 80% of the game today. Way we
fielded and bowled is a testament to
this side. Aussies play hard in an
uncompromising style. Surface was a
slow, not a criticism. We had to play
differently and Ish bowled well for a
guy who came in late. Tells us about
the man he is. To step up in tough
moments is what makes a player. I am
sure we'll see big crowds in the next
two Test matches. Thanks everyone
for the support and all these memories
will stay in my life. We are very lucky
to do what we do. Appreciate it all
