The Taiwanese computing giant on Thursday unveiled the new ZenFone 6 smartphone at a press event in Spain. Set to be a successor to the company's last year's flagship ZenFone 5Z, the Asus ZenFone 6 is the company's first smartphone with a rotating 'flip' camera. In an effort to reduce bezels and provide an all-screen front, the company has opted for a flipping camera. There is a dual camera setup in the phone, which normally resides on the back, but rotates when needed to become a selfie shooter.

Asus ZenFone 6 price starts at EUR 499 (roughly Rs. 39,100) for the 6GB + 64GB variant, going up to 6GB + 128GB version will retail at EUR 559 (roughly Rs. 43,800), and finally, the top-end 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at EUR 599 (roughly Rs. 47,000). It Is now available via the Asus eShop, and will start shipping from May 25.

On 30th anniversary, Asus has announced Zenfone 6 Edition 30. Only 3,000 units of this edition will be manufactured. This limited edition Zenfone 6 will have 30 Months of warranty period.

It will have a new design at the back consisting of Zen-inspired concentric-circles patterns on a 3D-curved glass design. The smartphone comes in Matte Black colour only and will have an embossed Edition 30 logo on the back.

Zenfone 6 Edition 30 have 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage and dedicated Micro SD card with expandable storage upto 2 TB.

The Asus 6Z price in India has been set at Rs. 31,999 for the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant, Rs. 34,999 for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant, and Rs. 39,999 for the 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage variant.

The smartphone will go on sale from Flipkart from June 26. It's launched in Midnight Black and Twilight Silver colour variants. A transparent phone cover is also bundled with the Asus 6Z.
