Base variant of Rog phone 2 was priced to be a OnePlus 7T killer. The other variant pricing was too much in comparison.

Now Asus seems to have landed back to ground reality

But talking about the specs I guess it is even better than One Plus 8 Pro, leaving Oxygen OS and Quad HD Display, it is almost better at everything.

Waiting for camera comparisons btw, was seeing MKBHD first impressions he used the phone for complete 2 days at 144 Hz and still 3% battery was left, imagine battery life at 60/90 Hz..

Yes increased GST may have hit them hard otherwise it might have been priced around 46-48k

Still it shows Asus was way too unrealistic with the base Rog 2 pricing.

leaving Oxygen OS and Quad HD Display, it is almost better at everything

I never trust Asus software update policy. Varies from time to time. Others may or may not be better.
